July 2007...what are you listening to?
On the cusp of finishing our first Barcelona record, I’ve found myself climbing into my car after long studio days and turning the stereo off so my ears can rest. So much rock and roll makes my heart grow weary. I think in another week or so, I’ll be ready to open my listening horizons again…any suggestions for me?? B |

Aqualung, he’s brilliant. |
Lately for me: Lori— Aqualung is amazing. Very talented. |
Lately, i’ve been getting into Imogen Heap. Kinda funky at first, but a nice listen when you just want to close your eyes and relax. |
i can’t get enough Muse. really excited about their show at key arena on sept 9th. been listening to the fray a lot the past few days… although not by choice. james morrison’s album is amazing. and, let’s be honest here… i listen to barcelona all the time. |
definetly tietur, and duncan sheik, some britney spears here and there ;). barcelona has been blasting in my ipod 24/7 lately. and i’m currently obsessed with the shins. |

Also, Make sure to checkout local Seattle band The Major Cities I really like the songs Left Yourself and Freeway Traveler |
Okay, so this is sort of a dead thread, but I have to say that if you want to hear some new stuff, and you are in or you like Barcelona, then you need to listen to Rory Stitt. |
I just discovered a band called The Flying Tourbillon Orchestra. |
Well…Sigur Ros is for livin, M83 is for dreamin and Yann Tiersen is a genious :) |
